This is one of the most common expressions one says when travelling to a foreign country. Of course, the place is not familiar, and the signs are perhaps not very easy to understand. Don't worry, Koreans are known to be very helpful to tourists. Once you say this phrase, 길을 잃었어요, the locals will be more than willing to help you find your way.
You may have practiced some Korean phrases or expressions for your travel to Korea, but there will be times when you will find it challenging to ask questions or understand the local language. 영어 할 수 있어요? can be very useful! The good news is that many locals know English, but of course, it is still so much more courteous and considerate to speak to them in Korean.
When you need to have something repeated or if you want a local to speak more slowly, then you can say this phrase 잘 모르겠네요. As we said above, Koreans are known to be helpful and considerate so they will understand your situation and repeat what they said or adjust the speed of their speech.
This phrase ___ (으)로 가주세요 will be very helpful in instructing your driver to bring you to where you want to go. We are sure you will be moving a lot and visiting a lot of places so you will use this expression often!
